having the same problem...since your is conversion from dpfi to mpfi recheck the wiring at the distributor. i believe it is the orange and white wire. make sure those wires are soldered. if not and all else fails you will have to replace the whole distributor...good luck..

here's a tip..make sure you have all you wires going from the ecu to the dizzy wires soldered and heat shrink. we left ours exposed just to make sure the car would start and it was putting out a code 4. soldered all connections and heat shrink and bam, no more code 4.

alright this took my lil bro and i alwhile to fix also but i think we've nailed it. from this site to even more there was alot of misleading info on the timing of the zc/si motor. if all connections are soldered and heatshrink then your problem lies within the timing. on the zc/si motor when you line up the cam gear for the timng on the compression stroke, do not line up the parallel marks on the cam gear to the head. that is the instructions on the d15 motors. on our d16 motors it is two teeth off(counterclockwise) to the left. you should have a upper timing cover. there is another mark on the cam gear at which it sits at seven o' clock. that mark needs to line up with the "pointer" on the upper timing cover. anyways it sounds confusing but here's a link to what helped me..
