converting to right hand drive...
so... i just ordered a front clip and i planned on using the engine and front end... but then i thought to myself i could be right hand drive... could i just cut out my usdm firewall and replace with jdm??? its no big deal but i wouldn't mind righthand drive for when i sell it. it gives the car a little more character.. thanks.
why would you want it rhd??
curious, because good luck selling it, and if you actually drive it, good luck insuring it, sure you may get a policy, but if you ever file a claim, the adjuster will NOT think its cool.

basically its character... it stands out... so your saying that right hand drive isnt worth the work... i live in vegas and our regulations are not serious at all... and basically i think rhd is all about the bling factor... after having the b18c5 engine, some dope authentic racing rims from japan VOLK>ADVAN<RACING HARRT, some carbon products, and a clean body, you just top it off with a little cherry(RHD)! thanks for the suggestions!!!! keep em comming... i have a daily driver that i can reley on, so who knows... i would really like to perform this task but i need as much info as possible. I AM A DO'ER! I DO EVERYTHING myself and has been like that for many years. when i was in japan a few years back my uncle let me drive his car and i enjoyed it alot it was a change that was hard to overcome... and it was fun... im already a really good driver so this minor switch isnt gonna affect anything. and the car is already insured, making it right hand drive is just a customization... its still usdm. any other things i should worrie about? or take in consideration? thanks again guys!
hers some pics of my car jus to show you what i see... its already very clean and stright body so... let me know
THIS CAR deserves RHD

OH AND THIS IS A 94... with 116000 original paint second owner!

dude don't rhd it.
it's alot more hassle than it is worth. 7 years ago it would have been hot, but now it's been done so often. I think it's just a little played out and a little too much work.

Hey think of it this way at least if you got a job with the post office you'd be all set and your car looks better than any postal truck I have seen.

I guess if Honda-tech says it sucks then I wouldn't do it.... If Honda-tech doesn't like it then you wont like it.....
In other words....don't conform to other peoples ideas and standards just because they think it sucks or they think its cool...do what you want to do....

im just being practical about it.
who cares about the looks.
fact is maybe you have an insurance policy, but if you were to ever hurt anyone or yourself in a wreck, and need the coverage, they could totally deny you coverage EVEN THOUGH you have been paying premiums for YEARS.
converting to RHD totally changes the car man, its not like adding a kamakazi yoshimitsu muffler.

To do the rhd you need to change the firewall, clutch pedals, power booster, clutch cylinder, subframe, and the steel lines on the frame. but if you want to do it go right ahead. Im playingon doing my ek9 rhd but im still looking for a clip.
