IMHO go with a comany who has extensive research in Coilovers IF you really need them. Skunk2 (again IMHO) would not be that company. I reccoment Apexi, or Tein, Silk Roads, JIC, etc. My car was purchased with sleeved coilovers on them and they are just fine. However I do not trust my car or driving it hard due to the fact I know they are just for looks.

A good coliover will cost you a few hundred bucks. Again, if you're out testing and tuning your car's suspension and are actually using them for what they are intended then by all means SKIP sleeves and get FULL coilovers.

You want quality and a low ride I suggest the H&R/Koni combo. I had it on my last Honda and LOVED it. Adjustable ride height and dampening for a decent price. Looking at the same token for the price of Koni yellows (500.00) plus H&R race springs (150) You're looking at a set of semi decent coilovers. K sport, entry level Tein etc.

Again, I'm not a race car driver and don't need to tune my suspension for track conditions. So I go with whats streetable and delivers good performance.

H&R offers adustable ride height? I didn't know H&R had coilovers. This is for a daily driver and I just want something smooth and low as possible.

if you want to go smooth with the coilover setup..get some ground controls and kyb adj/illuminas/koni shocks....with this combo the ride quality is pretty good and you get the bang for the buck with the GC/kyb adju setup...trust me i have these....i wouldn't go with skunk2 coilovers becuz tend to ride a little more bumpy compared to the GC...if really want a smooth ride...go with h&r sport springs/tein s-techs and the 3 shocks i mentioned earlier...running springs with shocks is going to be smoother...its just you dont get the adj height ability...really depends on you...good luck bro
