H&R Race Springs vs Skunk2 Coilovers.....
Right now my 99 hatch is riding on Aerospeed Coilovers and stock shocks. Very bouncy, harsh, flat out shitty ride. Plus after a 3hr trip to nashville in my car i cannot stand to drive it much longer like this. I hardly ever adjust my coilovers so im thinking of going with springs because there cheaper. Im defintaly getting KYB AGX Shocks but, what do you guys think would be better Skunk2 Coilovers or the H&R Race Springs??
I really just want something that handles really well but, has a somewhat comfortable ride. I hate hitting a little bump and bouncing a half mile down the street. This car will most likely never see any road track time just the ocassional "spirited" drive.
SO what would you guys pick Skunk2 Coilovers or H&R Race Springs???
btw, please dont suggest Ground Controls, there out of my budget right now.
Thanks
chris

Well, you should probably ask in the Civic forum, since RR/AX people will give RR/AX responses., and you don't have anything to do with RR/AX.
I should leave it at that, but I'm a rat bastard smartass...So, I suggest Ground Controls and getting "in before the lock".

h&r + koni
imo, dont rush things. thats how you end up getting things that you really dont want.

*sigh* as ive already stated im getting KYB AGX Shocks, Im getting a good deal on them and have read plenty of good reviews on them. I could save up a little longer and get Koni Yellows but I dont want to. My car will NEVER see a road course, EVER. I just want some good shocks.
Im asking for your opnions on Skunk2 Coilovers -VS- H&R Race Springs. THATS IT!!
thanks

yeah, i think im gonna be going with the H&R's with AGX's.
there isnt any road courses around here. well, once a year there is an autoX that i might attend next year, but nothing serious.
thanks

I wouldnt go with Skunk2...
There springs after a while goes limp. Also no one knows who makes the Skunk2 springs. I would stick with the H&R..
