b16 cooling
hey i was wondering if some one could tell me which way the cooling runs on the b16.. does the coolant go into the radiator threw the bottom hose or the top.. also when i start it up do i just hook up hoses and fill up rad.? or do i need to try and get cooant into the head an block be fore i run it..
I'm not really sure what you are asking, maybe it's because I am tired. lol
Anyhoo, when you add a bunch of coolant to your car after it has been empty, it is a good idea to remove your radiator cap, and then open up that little valve by the upper radiator hose on the head and let all of the air bubbles escape the system as the car warms up and idles. other wise you might find your car overheating and stuff, and that sucks.

|| words of wisdom..first of all make sure all hoses are clamped to the radiator..than while the resovour part is open start filling the radiator thru the radiator top..i usually pump the hoses a little to get some of it thru the lines..than i proceed to add more again untill its full..make sure cap is on than jus run the car..let it cool for a lil and check to see if its full..
