where do i check for cel codes in my 90 civic sedan?
Look under the carpet in the passenger side footwell, you will see the ECU, the little red light on it will blink indicating the code. Count the number of times the light blinks then that's your code number.

I think the car is off, then you turn on the ignition, right before the car cranks, and then you see the ecu flash.
I may be wrong, so if I am, then turn the car on, and see if the cel's flash etc. It's not like it will be hard to figure out which way works.

ok ... since my last post was deleted.. i'll word it more nicely. you could have searched this. youv got over 300 posts and youd think you knew how to use the search button. this has probably been covered over 100 times.
