The main question on a turbo build.
Which turbo do you guys think will be the best choice on a daily driven LS/VTEC turbo setup....i was leaning towards either a 2871R or a 3071R....On a daily I plan to run around 10-12 lbs...Any suggestions?
My setup includes the following......
LS/VTEC w/
LS block with darton sleeves bored to 2.0
JE pistons/Eagle rods
Type R head w/ type r cams
Skunk2 Valves/Springs/Retainers
Edelbrock Victor X intake manifold
Edelbrock Throttle Body
AEM EMS

I would go with the gt3071rs because of the displacement of the motor, it will spool failry quick and carry to redline
my friend has one on his single cam with a gt2871rs and it hits full boost at 2500 rpms and goes all the way to redline but is starting to max out of its effiency range at 20psi

Yeah...the displacement makes a difference on the turbo selection....Ive been talking to one of my friends that is big into 240sx and he was telling me that he knowa a few guys running 3071's on there cars and love every bit of it...quick spool and great power...
although i dont think i will be doing 20lbs ...if i do maybe once in a while..just to shut some1 up at the track...
and also what do you guys think about the GT35R on my setup
