Default May My Sycros Be BAD???

Hey,
Dont even know if this problem here is just a normal gearbox of honda but it seems like my gears are really stiff and times gotta force it in, changed tranny fluid, could this be a sign of my tranny being bad ? or ?

have you recently changed to a short shifter or anything? maybe it's just something with the linkage if that is the case, if not when you changed the fluid was there any metal shards or anything in there?

i have the same problem as you...at times its easy putting into gear and at times i gotta force it in...i had it checked..it wasnt the clutch or the fluid (which i changed)..it was a bad synchro...

try doing another tranny oil change, use a green scrubber pad a filter catch...Check to see if you have any metal shavings...Then I recommend that you use Synco Mesh, tranny oil...Pick it up from your local GM dealer... Then post up!

its time to time some times the all gears smoothly sometimes some gears their ruff, but almost most of the time 1st gear is the worst. Im guessing clutch or syncro... anyway to check syncro to see if its bad my self ? if so how ? or can it be something wit the medal shifter that may not be connected perfectly to the transmission, maybe cuz previous owner just took the short shifter back to stock, or just loosen'd up ?
