Default Trasmission/Clutch Experts.. Need Help & Advice!

The setup: 12:5:1 Cr B18C1 W/ S80 ITR Tranny LSD.. ATS 4.929 Final Drive/GSR 5th gear & JUN flywheel.

I was running a Clutchnet double diaphram pressure plate with 6 puck sprung hub disc.. Driving the car and all of a sudden a knocking noise developed when i pushed the clutch in.. Pull the tranny off and the Pressure plate was broke. The Part of the pressure plate that is held on by rivets? was hanging off.. I replaced the pressure plate with an exedy stage 1 (not even sure if it's stage 1 could be OEM replacement as it says ''daikin'' on the box).. Two weeks later maybe after some mild driving (not grabbing gears, etc)

The same noise has developed..(Clunking,knocking,etc) and This time There is a Obnoxious noise like the throwout bearing is LOUD as hell.. As i rev the car The noise get's louder then when i push the clutch in it goes away.. Is that an indication of the TOB?

What kind of clutch can i run that is reliable..For 196 whp?

any help is greatly appriciated!

I have never heard of someone going through 2 clutches on daily driving in a quick time like this. What type of throw out bearing are you using? The ones that came with your kit. Look into ACT or Action or Exedy Stage 2 or something. Also are you breaking in your clutches before you beat the **** out of them? Poor break in could cause this.

Noise goes away after you push down the clutch pedal? If it goes away after only applying a little bit of pressure to the clutch pedal, then it's probably the release bearing. But if it only goes away after you push the clutch down all the way and fully disengage the trans, then it's probably the input bearing on the trans.

When you break a clutch in.. Your actually breaking in the disc and making sure it's wearing evenly right?? I'm not 100% sure.. But the ceramic disc was already broken in.. because we reused it..

Car hasn't even seen the track yet, no hard abuse at ALL.. Daily driving

If thats true then you had a defective clutch i would think. Do you have any pics of the broken piece and how it broke off?

When you break in the clutch your breaking in the springs on the clutch, the PP and the flywheel so everything can grab the disc good and even. The disc will never warp out it will just break. The PP and flywheel will warp so (like on brakes) you break them in so everythings even. Fo you to break the clutch when there was no abuse then something was wrong with the clutch OR something fell in the tranny casing. Like i said if you could get pics that would help alot.

Yeah, I will try to get pic's i'm about to go down in the garage and pull this Tranny AGAIN.. I'm kind of afraid what i'm gonna find.

But like i said i didn't break the clutch it because due to us reusing this disc.. Have you ever heard of a clutch company called ''tcs''? ekay Jay is selling them and they're pretty cheap.. let me know thoughts/opinions.. Thanks man
