Default How to pull CEL's

Well this is a pretty simple question but since Honda-Tech's search program sucks and dosn't find anything I'll ask. Currently I have a 96 CX with a 94 LS engine in it with an OBDI jumper harness and a p75 ecu, I just wanted to know how to pull the CEL's up, I'm going to assume that I can't just bring it to autozone to have them pull it up because of me going to an obd i ecu, I've herad about counting the flashing cel or osmething but I'm not sure how to do it, if anyone could shed some light on this problem for me i'd appreciate it.

If you go to passanger side kick panel and raise up the carpet u sould see your ecu. and above your ECU there will be a lil plug. iIts grey. with 2 wires coming out of it. One wire is black with a white stripe and the other is a red with a black strip.. I take a spare piece of thin speaker wire and cut off both ends so that the actual copper of the wire is showion on both ends. i twist up both ends so that they are in a nice point. stick one end of the wire into the fist socket on the plug. The other end of the wire into the other socket. Turn your key to the ON position.. dont start your car. just to the ON position. Watch your check engine light on your cluster. it will flash.. 1 long flash is 10. the quick flashes are one. so if ur CEL goes !.....!!! that is a code 13. !....!....!!!!! code 25. then take the code #'s and hop on this thread and see what it is. i hope i could help you all.

Here is a how to video for checking CEL Right Click Save As

Is it even going to pull anything up ? The scan tools they use are for OBD II cars, obviously, my car was once OBDII, but is no longer, My guess is if I had them try to pull it up, they could plug it into the spot, but the ECU wouldn't know whats going on and its not going to bring anything back.
