alright i've noticed under normal acceleration my car seems to feel like it hesitates from around 3-4000ish rpm unless i give it a bit more gas and it seems fine. My friend suggested a misfire maybe, but shouldnt i be getting a code for that? because the check engine light does not come on.

the motor is an obd-2 b16a2 and the ecu is an obd-1 jdm p30.

 

Could be a number of things. It will be hard to tell until it throws a code or breaks down on you. Check the plugs, cap, and rotor for their condition first.

 

everything seems to be in good condition...getting some OEM wires though just ordered them.

still no codes though

 

i hate it when i know i have a problem but i don't get a code or anything. my dd is a prelude and it dies every once in awhile. i am usually like damn break or throw a code

 

problem fixed..it was the ignition timing...i put the dizzy on wrong and the timing was retarded.
