Default inline fuel pump doesnt Wine anymore!!!!

I have a 1992 honda civic cx powered by a b18b and a drag kit. I am running a inline fuel pump and when i first put the fuel pump on it and i turned on my car i would here a wine. Its been a while but now i cant hear anything at all, can the fuel pump itself be bad? Kind of scares me b-c i dont want to blow anything up.

You wont blow anything becuase your car wont run if it doesnt work. check the power going to the fuel pump and make sure its getting power. When it doesnt "wine" as you say then that means its a dead pump.

Oh your using an inline pump that you put after the fuel filter huh? Ditch that and get an intank one. Get a 255 Walbro best bang for buck.

aftermarket fuel pumps are almost always significantly louder than their stock counterparts. for good reason too.

is it hard installing the intank fuel pump on a 92 civic hatch? i read a thread on here saying that its better to have an inline fuel pump with my setup. Whats the difference other then one being after the fuel filter and the other being in the fuel tank?????
