my rear end sounds like its falling apart
my hatch sounds like it's falling apart. theirs this constant repetitive chachung chachung when i'm driving around 40+ mph. And there's like 20 million vibrations back there. I gutted the thing hopeing to find them but i havn't yet. The only thing i can think of it being is something inside the drums... i have new shocks/springs energy suspension bushing on the LCA's....
How do I go about wrenching those bad boys off of there? I've never taken a drum off in my life.

yeha man if you go to a crappy exhaust place and they make the pipe too short it will vibrate like friggin crazy. happened to me and it was the most annoying noise I have ever heard in my life.
no my exhaust is perfectly fine. it's an RSR Exmag, sounds beautiful. It's something else that's ratteling around back there. really pisses me off.. it's so annoying
my exhaust does the smae thing i dont think it would be because of the quality of the exhaust but it might be mounted wrong mine does it but its the rubber piece holding it is too old and got lose check urs out

to take the drum off simply take your wheel off, and beat on the edge of the drum at an angle of course with the ebrake off.. then use two flatheads on opposite sides to pry it off.. if the problem is in the drum you will see it right away..i had this problem in my dodge shadow (1st car) lol one of the springs that holds the shoes together snapped and they were rattling around in the drum.. good luck
check your rear trailing arm bushings. my car sounds very unconnected in the rear and i know it's because of these bushings. mine or so rotted that they are starting to crack through at some points. jack your car up in the rear, so you can see them better. you will be able to see hidden damage when the are jacked up and hanging freely.
all of the bushings on the rear lower control arms were all replaced with energy suspension. new shocks, semi-new springs. the bushing on the trailing arm was not replaced and most likely is bad on both sides.
