I just recieved a JDM F22b JDM Auto swap and the tranny code is mp1a. I did some searching and it appears this is the same tranny that came on the H22a Auto. Is this correct? It has the bar in the diff so it isn't LSD correct?

I am just wanting a little more info on the tranny so I can sell it so anything you know about it would be great.

the mp1a was <u>the</u> prelude automatic transmission, and yes bar means no lsd

 

I didn't think the JDM F22b was a prelude engine was it? So maybe this tranny wasn't actually intended to come with this engine? It was probably put together for the purpose of selling it as a complete swap?

 

if your prelude came with an h23 here, it came with an f22b in jdmland

edit: i think youre thinking of the f20b

 

^^ Ok that makes sence, so there was no H23a non-vtec in japan. Understood!

So this tranny probably didn't originally come on this block then huh?

 

it very well may have, the f22b/mp1a would have come in a prelude si automatic
