97-99 Prelude Specs (preferably Automatic Tranny)
I am planning to put a prelude tranny in my 92 accord however I have an Automatic and I still would like to go with one, Any suggestions on the H22A Tranny being an Auto as well, Does anyone know if you can even get ONE

Re: 97-99 Prelude Specs (Accord EX-R (Canadian))
Yeah the 97-01 Prelude VTEC was offered in a 4spd Sport Shift automatic mated to the H22A. You will need the auto tranny and auto ECU Plus the Transmission Control Module too. You should be able to get it used cheaper than a 5spd because the Automatic is generally unpopular - especially for engine swaps. The Sport Shift tranny is also more failure prone than the manual according to many people.
Also, the 92-95 JDM Prelude was offered with an automatic tranny mated to the H22A. I believe that this was a 3spd automatic...

It's just a 4spd automatic tranny with a U-Shift-It mode similar to other "Manu-matics" like in the Acura TL. All 97-01 automatic H22a trannies are the Sport Shift one.
