Default Help with shiftknob

can someone tell me how to take off the oem shiftknob . i have a 06 rsx type s. i cant find the way to twist it or a place to unscreww the shitknob.

pull down ur boot first (just snaps out of place) then u can twist ur shift **** off

the 06 has a clip that connects the shift boot to the ****. its the little ring looking thing at the very bottom of the **** and the top of the boot. pull that ring downwards and it should pop out (might take a little squeezing). then the shift **** unscrews.

i think the 05's have it..when i bought my 05 rsx-s (used) it had the ring off..so i think 05's have that ring too.

put a lil muscle into it, pulling down the shift boot is kinda hard the first time you do it...just squeeze the ring and pull down...

after that, just unscrew the shiftknob...RIGHTY TIGHTY, LEFTY LOOSEY

...nothing to it

most STOCK shift ***** are basically the same...

it has that clip that hooks onto the shift ****
