Default Going LS-V. Which ECU to use???

Obviously needs to be a B16A or B18C ECU. Running Chrome to tune with. Also, does anyone know of a plug-n-play conversion harness for a 93' Integra LS?

Thanks!

if your gona chip it with chrome to tune it... you dont need a b16 or b18c ecu. use your stock one.

What kind of conversion harness? U can get obd conversion harnesses from a few different places, I got mine from jdmsh!t.com... They're a good place though the sauders are pretty dinky so don't fudge with em too much or bend them alot. O and of course the ! is an i if u go to their websight, I also heard that Hasport and a few other places make conversion harnesses, even ppl here on H-T.

1st time I come back to the Integra forumform the FI and I see all this ****

You need a VTEC ECU...either solder in a VTEC controller onto the LS ECU or just buy a VTEC ECU.

Next it's CROME as in Chui's ROM Editor not "BLING"

You won't need a harness if everything is the same OBD as you started with.

PS upgrade your injectors and use a hondata ecu and tune it.
cause most cases CYL #1 end up blowing up cause of poor fuel mixture.

Dude, mellow out. I asked a simple question. Good hell. I wasn't asking about a conversion harness, I was asking about a plug-n-play harness. So I don't have to cut into my existing harness for the Vtec ECU. I know I need a Vtec ECU, does it matter which one?

What type of chip would I need to use to run the crome tuning? Can someone like Kenji do it? Also, the head is off a 97 GSR, does that make any difference?

you could use any chipped ecu, go with a reputable company of course...if you have a gsr head and you plan to keep it stock, then run a stock obd1 p72 most definitely, but if you plan to changing the IM to skunk2, blox..etc then definitely get a chipped obd1 p28.

I would have to agree on the P28 obd1 chipped FTW...
But there is also the P72 GSR,
and the PR3 B16A Civic,
and the harder to find P73 ITR,
and the even harder to find P30 from the Del Sol SiR...

Do you even know what you are talking about, you can't use a non VTEC ECU, on a VTEC SET-UP...THAT **** WOULD RUN LIKE ****....come on now, stop misleading people!

what he is talking about is using the stock PR4 ECU from the 93 integra and having someone like J-K tuning or Kenji convert it to Vtec and chip it. Reason being is because 93 came OBD1 PR4 ECU which is easier to covert to Vtec than the P75 94 integra ECU.

I personally have converted a P75 to Vtec and it would stay in vtec for a bit then throw a codes. but with the PR4 its easier to convert it to vtec, it tends not to throw any codes. Even tho when looking at the circuit board everything is pretty much the same except for a few things here and there.

There are alot of ECU option out there
P72-GSR
P30-Delslow
PR3 B16
P73 ITR.
P28 Chipped
P06 Chipped and Convert for Vtec.

If I were you I would use the PR4 in your 93 teg and have it converted to vtec and chip with custom basemap.
