JDM ZC
if the ZC motor is a vtec motor, will it have the VTEC emblem on the front or not? bc i just got a motor to swap into my 92 cx, and all it has on the valve cover is 16valve. but the blocks code says ZC. can anyone help me on this. thanks in advance.

It depends.. did you get the SOHC or DOHC ZC engine?
SOHC = Vtec or Non Vtec.
DOHC = Non Vtec.
In Japan they made a Vtec SOHC ZC engine.

well the only thing i'm worried about is that the company my shop ordered it through said that they could sell me a vtec engine but not warranty the engine bc they go by the VIN number, and my civic is a cx. the problem with this is that if it is a non vtec engine, then it has to be an obd 0 engine and if i'm right my 92 civic is obd 1 correct? so that means that it wouldn't be a direct drop in. if this is true and they can't swap my engine in i'm going to be extremely pissed and ask for my money back, bc i told them over the phone that i knew for a fact the d16z6 and d15b vtec would fit in my car without any modification. please give me some opinions on this. thanks in advance.

That's a rediculous ammount of info on an engine like the ZC. I read it all...but I don't think I took in even half of it :-P.
AS FAR AS I KNOW:
There's a few versions as follows for fuel injection, if you have a carbed one, I'm not sure which versions it came with, as for fuel injection it's quite simple.
SOHC VTEC
SOHC Non-VTEC
DOHC Non-VTEC
I think the DOHC makes like the same power as a D16Z6 (approx). They're not really awesome engines...unless you say the D series motors are awesome to begin with in which case they are awesome engines :-P.
Hope that helps
