injen c.a.i for 06 type s
i just ordered my injen c.a.i along with a hydroshield i was wondering anyone know how much hp the intake adds?
and is there any knowledge of it helping 1/4 times

you technically dont have to but i personally have no idea how you would be able to install the intake without taking off the front bumper. And yes, it sits right around the driver side fog light area.

I installed an AEM CAI on my S without taking off the bumper. It's the same setup as an Injen.
You'll notice a slight gain from the intake but nothing drastic. You think it's faster than it really is because it's making so much more noise.

I'm not saying there's no difference, but what most people describe vs. what you really feel is two different things. Most people will talk up an intake as though you've just added nitrous or a turbo. What I was getting at is you hear more sound than anything and the actual "feel" is more one of those things where you're like......I think I notice a difference. That's where the old saying comes in "it sounds faster than it is".
Either way, you're going to love the intake I gurantee it. You'll be flooring it everywhere and getting lovely shitty gas mileage.

it prolly only adds about 3-5 hp to the wheels prolly 10-15 flywheel hp
but its worth it man.. u gotta start somewhere..
ive already decided to go all motor
the dc5's have the best n/a motor out there right now along with the civic, why change it.....
plus braggin right are better when u can say ur all motor..
