Default Complete Overhaul. Need Guidence.

ok, so i have searched, i have looked, and i dont need a bunch of heat about this

i have a 1991 CRX Si.

i have the following installed....as far as suspension goes...

ES front and rear lower control arm bushings..
ES REar Trailing arm bushings
ES Shifter bushing
Tein S-Tech sport springs
Tokico Illuminas
front and rear upper strut braces

as far as braking goes...

Willwood front brakes
DA rear trailing arms and brakes
Stainless lines
Civic EX 15/16" MC...
and thats it...

my question is this...

i need to replace a bunch of things, because i am restoring the car completely and want it perfect.

the steering rack...i have heard a bunch of things about how to fix a loose rack. 1.) replace a u-joint between the steering column and the rack 2.) replace the rack with a refurb unit from Napa 3.) rebuild the rack with a rebuild kit.

so what should i do based on money/time/ so on...i have a full garage and can do any work on it, and have all the tools i would ever need, so keep that in mind...

secondly, the bushing dilema. i need to replace all of these bushings. i have listed all the ones that i HAVE replaced....but what other ones must i do....because the TA bushings were in half...and the other bushings (i havent replaced) are in bad shape...so can i get them all from Summit or what? any ideas there?

and lastly, but just as importantly, ball joints.....what ones should i get ( i want OEM replacements) is NApa ok or no? and how labor inducive is that?

thanks a million guys, your help doesnt go unnoticed.

i would get e/s bushing or oem.as for the streeing rack u can go buy one from honda and slap it on that isnt all that hard.now for the bushings some of them will need to be pressed in so ull need a hydro press or take it to a shop.when i replace mine im taking it to the shop.when u replace the bushings u may need another aliment.as for the balkl joints i replace mine on my own. (lower and outertie rod)the upper ones ull need to buy whole new upper control arm.OR u can get omni power one which u can take them out and put the new ones.

well if u have a press that good just press them in and reinstall. your lower ball jonits arent a prob.l just take off the big snip ring and smack the **** out of it with a socket over the threads and it should come out.put new one in same way.put snap ring back on your done.now the last ball joint before u unscrew it put a peice of tape around the threads so when u twist it off u can put it back on in the same place.<<<U WILL NEED A TIRE ALIMENT
then buy them upper controls arms and your set. this site has everything u need to get back on the road.
