Default slow acceleration\deceleration jerking help(automatic)

this slow acceleration\deceleration jerking is getting quite annoying...it only jerks into gear on street slow acceleration\deceleration but shifts smoothly when driven fast....it isn't slipping...it shifts properly in each gear just with a jerk...seems like the acceleration and gear engagement points aren't lining up...

just had the tranny flushed, cap and rotors replaced, new air filter, new spark plugs and wires, professionaly cleaned fuel injection system, oil changed.

The weak link of the prelude is the auto tranny. It is probably warning you that it is about to poop out.

I am pretty sure that the 4th gen auto tranny was just fine, its the 5th gen that was pure evil ...I think if anything its cause u got ur tranny flushed. Honda transmission arent suppose to get flushed cause of some filter or something yaddayadda. So i am not sure about this but its probably cause u got ur tranny flushed. Good luck with it

it was jerking before the flush..took it to honda and they said that should cure the problem...which it did for about a month...then it's back to sqaure one...weird.

I've found the 4G Lude autobox to be pretty strong.. I was surprised. I dropped it from 5k before (which was incredibly stupid, I know -- I didn't care) and stayed strong. It might be going out though.. eh.

Anyone know what size the torque converter is? I'd be interested to see what will fit.

Bullshiat it isn't supposed to be flushed. That is why the 5th gens auto tranny craps out; because people don't get em flushed. There are guys running 180K + miles on 5th Gen auto trannies because they get them flushed every 15K.

My manual says:
CHeck air filter
check PCV valve
check fuel filter
if fuel filter good check fuel pump...turn on car to start position and listen for whinning noise when you put head on center console in back..get friend to help you.
check EGR system
then change tranny fluid if you feel like it is the same

thanks f22 for the manual:

air filter new

fuel filter good

???check valve maybe bad due to hard start(thinking fuel pump is dumping all the fuel back)

???egr system needs to be checked

tranny fluid was just changed
