Default I have a DEI VIPER alarm but no instuction manual (black button help)

I've discovered this alarm on my car when out of nowhere it just beeped with the keyless entry. so i took part of the dash apart and found a dei viper box, i have no idea what kind of series it is but i have a little blue remote with I II III IV buttons on it.

I found a gray wire coming out of the box unit with a button on the end of it, there is some form of pressing this button and the one on the remote and getting the alarm to work properly.

Right now it has like a 40 sec timer on it to reset itself to arm again no matter if it is locked or unlocked. i just need it to quit that **** and just work when i want it to work. i.e. button: arm button: disarm. HELP!

if you want to temporary disarm the alarm (put in valet mode), most dei products you can turn the ignition on then off and hit the valet button, should have a grey and black wire attached to the button.

it'll be easier if you could grab the model number of the dei alarm. usually on the brain (big black box) of the alarm.

can't complain about free stuff, just take a look when you get a chance, i can probably find a manual for it or i'm sure fcm or someone else can find it for you.

Yea get me a model number and I can get you an install guide, [so you can program it for "active" arming, instead of the "passive" arming it's in now] and an owners guide, for remote control operations and valet/program/override button, [button on gray wire] operation. 94
