Default Need HELP!...B*T#*H Pin wont come off tranny/shift linkage...any suggestions?

The car is on jack stands and I dont have enough space to get any good hammer swings with the punch to punch it out. I tried using a jack under the punch and it didnt seem to help. This is on a y1 tranny if that helps.

Should I drill it out? This seems to be my last option unless there is a special tool beside a punch used to get this out..if thier is such a tool can anyone show my pics or suggest a website that sells them or would a auto store rent these out?

I bought a tool some guy invented called a B.P.E. (bitch pin extractor) it broke first time I used it. the bitch pin was too much for it.

Take the trans or engine out with the shift linkage attatched. Just undo the shift linkage from underneath the shifter, and then undo the linkage stabilizer bar from the tranny. Then undo the bitch pin once it's out and you have room to really whack the hell out of it.

keep trying. It isn't called the bitch pin for nothing. It'll come out eventually.
