DPFI to MPFI swap Complete with no codes or CEL but car just cranks
I got all my wiring done for my DPFI to MPFI swap I was thowing some codes but I fixed them.. now the car just cranks and wont start.. any ideas whats wrong? the ecu thows no codes and there is no check engine light..
yeah I used a meter to check for connection from C1 and C2 to the proper wires at the distributor
to check spark pull out one of the plugs and leave it attatched to the wire then hold it near a ground (hand far from spark) if it sparks your fine there... if not then thats one of your problems

bump 'cause i'm having the same problem. but i've got spark. no power to the fuel pump, though. resoldered main relay didn't fix it, new main relay didn't fix it. no power coming out of relay, but i seem to have power going in. i think i may be fighting a ground issue.
yeah, but i've got no power going into the pump or coming out of the main relay. i think the relay isn't grounding.
check your engine harness grounds, esp. the one right at the thermostat housing. I bet you have a loose ground.
how long did you crank it? I had to crank mine for about 30-45 seconds straight before it started. I originally thought I must have frigged something up.
uh did you by chance swap the 2 white wires in the distributor?? If it was a running engine I will almost guarantee that is the problem.
yeah those are right.. I let my car sit for 24 hours and then when I tryed it it started right up. then when I tryed starting it again it bogged and poped when I floored it, now it just cranks again.. also the exhaust smells like gas really bad.. could my fuel injectors be stuck open or bad?
It just cranked and cranked, then I let it sit, then it started and ran close to normal then I shut it off and when I started it again it ran like crap poping and bogging, then it killed now it just cranks again..
