TPS sensor
I put on a 'new" TPS sensor on my swap, but now unfortunately the car will not drive. I take it outta 1st hit the gas and nothing happens? The revv's don't climb. I checked if it was the throttle cable but it is opening up the plate, so I assume it is the tps which I haven't calibrated.
What's the easiest way to calibrate it? I tried getting my multi-meter leads into the wires but it seems impossible.. I also tried using some longer pins but they wouldnt stay in.
also .4V is 0%throttle and 4.5V is WOT? correct?

are you telling me that nowdays, cars have throttle position sensors with sensors on them!!??1 cars are becoming way too advanced
sorry, were you tryin to ask a question?

If it was off that bad it would throw a CEL. I've drove with a TPS sensor unplugged, on OBD 1 it shouldn't make a difference but you could have other problems that could make the car unable to rev.
yeah the TPS just acts as an accelerator pump so when you jab the throttle the ecu can quickly compensate with fuel. In theory you can drive a car with the TPS unplugged, and if you accelerate slowly, you shouldn't notice much of a difference. But to us honda heads, the TPS is our best friend.
And yeah it would throw a cel. So it sounds like you have other issues going on.

b20 with p06 ecu with a p75 map slightly scaled for a 2.0 (i got the p8r head not the p75 head). Ya I'm going to unplug it reset the ecu and let it idle for 10 minutes then see if she drives.
Try de-pinning it and switching some wires around, that's what I did on my B16 and voila! it worked.
