The entire axle slided all the way out of the transmission!? Or did the joint pull apart?

You didn't have it seated good enough. Happened to us last season with stage 3 axles. It poped out after the burnout.

Took it back in the pits and drove it back in with a big hammer and a block of wood.

you probably didnt have the axles set in right and as it spun it slowly slid out. does your engine vibrate alot? maybe your motor mounts are bad and it might have helped in the sliding out part. what kind of axles are you using??

OEM b series axles...came with the swap. Someone else said it could have been mounts. Doesnt the motor generally move back and forth not side to side?

when all the mounts are bad the motor goes everywhere. i had this problem come up before when i did a similar swap. you might want to set it in place first and recheck the seal. my on case the guy sold my guy a bad tranny
