delayed start!!

Default delayed start!!

wen i start my car i have to hold it down for about 4 sec till it starts. ive replaced the plugs wires and the cap and rotor.Do you think its the starter???

how is the delay start. does it turn over then start or does it do nonething for 4 sec then the starter decisdes to turn over?

it turns over then starts after a couple sec.

Mine does that when I've been driving around with a nearly empty gas tank for a few days. My guess is water contamination in the gas combined with low pressure from a cold start. Try this: Flip the key into on (the dash lights up, beeps, etc, the normal run key position) and let the fuel pump prime. Then crank it...odds are it'll start right up.
