might be dumb question but.. can suspension be installed wrong way?
ok, well just wondering but i had my motor swap done, but while the fork was out on the hub, i removed my passenger side suspension "megan racing street suspension" and i tried to lower it all the way , then i put it back and didnt know which way to screw it back on.. so i just guessed and put it back on. i didnt fck with anyting else, i just simply took it off, spinned the coils, then put it back on.. would it matter if it were up in the wrong direction or anything?

like u take off the whole suspension coilover module and u just screw it back on where the top 2 bolts go that would also hold the strut bar.

The shock forks in the front are directional - one side faces forward, one faces rear, and this is to accomodate the axle. Yes it is possible to install the suspension backwards.

so how do i know if ive installed it the wrong way? ive been driving around with it like this for about a week, been hearing a little strange noise from suspension but dunno if thats the reason?

I dont think the brake line will bolt correctly onto a backward-installed shock. Thats a very good sign. But my friend did installed his Zeal coilover backwards on a Subie and totally messed up the front tire after 10k miles.
