o2 sensor question

Default o2 sensor question

i tried searching.... i have jdm b16 swap(obd1) p30ecu in my 96 civic ex(obd2a)...and i have dc sport headers.....the o2 sensor plug wont reach from the plug to the o2 sensor hole on the header....has anyone else have this problem..and wats the best solution to fix that..thanks honda tech!!

Just try and use the same size wire, a trip to the junkyard with some wire cutters will do the trick.

did you buy the dc header new? if so, it should have came with a wire extender.

just a quick question, what do i do with that brown tube? im not sure if its anti seize, since the stuff i use is normally silver.

I believe it is anti-seize.

you can buy a o2 extender from holley for $30.

or buy one from rywire, the link i gave, for $20.

if you buy a b series header it prolly wont come with an extender, as the factory manifold already locates the o2 sensor at the same place as the dc header. it will prolly only come with an extender if you buy a d series header. if your engine came with a manifold and an 02 in it use that one as it should already be long enough.
