installing new pistons..help

Default installing new pistons..help

so i have money for pistons and rods for my d-series. do i have to get it bored and honed first, or can i just put them in?

u could, but thats like sloppy seconds. you can hone the block in the engine with a 20 dollar tool from any autoparts store, or if you have your block out have it pro done for like 5-10 a cyl. you also need to check to make sure your block is still flat on top and have your head looked at to make sure its level, most people say that you need to have your head decked after taking it off.
