'93 Prelude Won't Start
The transmission was replaced yesterday and the car started and drove very well. I drove the car home and parked it for the night. Today, it would not start. Cranks like a bandit and has spark. I removed the fuel line from the injector rail, the banjo fitting, but did not get any fuel from the line when cranking. Possible fuel pump or relay. I have not been able to figure out which relay controls the fuel pump. Can someone advise me on how to diagnose this? Which relay is which and if not the relay, where is the fuel pump and how do you remove it?
Thanks.
Thanks.
not sure which relay is the main fuel relay...but to troubleshoot it, turn the key on and off and have someone put their head by the gas tank and see if they hear the pump priming...itll be a whirring sound for a couple seconds
theres an access panel to the fuel pump in the trunk...towards the front of the car under the trunk floor

The main relay is under the dash on the driver's side, it's a little box with a big connector going to it, does ur fuel pump prime? U should be able to hear a slight hissing when u turn the ignition on, but not fully on.
Thanks for all the input. It turns out that the fuel pump is OK. I took the connector off and ran +12v and ground to the terminals, the pump hummed and the car started and ran. So, based on all your input, I was able to locate the main relay and remove it. I plan to buy a replacement for it tomorrow. Thanks again for the help.
