Fuel pump not priming?

Fuel pump not priming?
hey, so recently i bought a 1997 honda prelude with a h22z that was not starting (worked perfectly fine previously) with the intent of repairing it. The main reason seems to be the engine not getting any fuel, it cranks but no start. This could be a compression issue however what has lead me to believe it is fuel related is i dont hear the fuel pump prime when the key is in the "on" position or when the car is trying to turn over. I've already replaced the fuel pump, checked fuses and checked the main relay (clicks twice when key is in "on"), however still no priming of the pump. What else should i check? thanks

Re: Fuel pump not priming?
Are you getting the correct voltage at the pump when the key is turned on? My default on this issue would be main relay, so maybe it is clicking, but not functioning 100%. If the fuses, pump, relay, and ecu are all good, then you probably just have a wiring issue somewhere, so trace until you find the issue and repair.
