tire size
I have a 1997 honda civic hx with just under 130,000 miles. I have 7x17 rims and I would like to run 215-40 toyo poxes 4's but I can get them to rub with my brother in the car or a really big bump, so right now I have 205-40's and they ride rougher. I have to drive atleast 40 miles a day so I want a smooth ride. I have a 320 pound brother that I might have to take to school with me so I can't risk the tires rubbing. Are my springs just getting worn out? they sink about 1/4'' with every 75 lb's in the trunk. Or are there air shocks out there that I could put in? Like I said I want to run the 215's ( four tenths of an inch taller than the 205's ) because of the little bit smoother of a ride. What are you guys thinking? By the way besides the radio and the rims, the car is stock and plan to leave it that way until I get some money to put into it.
thanks,
robert

stock springs?
change offset of wheel.
stick with the 205s.
go with a smaller wheel.
roll the fenders.
lift kit.
stiffer springs.
brother lose weight.
all of these are options.
