The best carbon fiber hood is the one made for the 1967 accord, which will fit every generation accord despite the body shape.

It depends whether you want OEM style, submerged vents, scooped out or simply a cowhood. Styles will put the price higher or lower, brand name (..how famous..) will also cost you more, but be sure to check here in Honda-Tech, some of the companies that are making carbon fiber products, and maybe you could find something that you are looking for.

The clear rips fairly quick... If not really cared for, but other than that...
I never rocked hood pins on the VIS CF hoods for 5 years on my civic and it never had any problems.

I've read problems here and there with VIS. It's not a bad company, but they don't get it right as often as people believe they do. I had a VIS hood and read up on it when I was debating to get hood pins or not. Some people have had them seperate without hood pinss and higher speeds (90mph+) and mine wouldn't close properly. I would either have to do a open stacked palm thrust to close it, or just use my butt and slowly sit down on it. I now have a Seibon after an accident and after i was sent a seibon when i ordered a VIS. No complaints here, great quality and closes like oem.
