I know I have not been on in a long time and didn't realize that carbon fiber has become so common (as much as the common cold). Right now I don't know which company has the best quality and product. Can anyone help me out as far as which company they believe is has the best carbon fiber hood for a 92-95 EG?

My first impressions where Fiber Images... though they show on their website they hold up very well, but does anyone know if this effects the weight of the product? Meaning its heavier than most carbon fiber hoods out there?

There is a hood latch on the hood depending on application (I know the 92-95 Civic hoods have them on it, but the CRX hoods do not if I remember correct)
There are alot of opinions around hood pins but personally I would not run any hood without hood pins for extra safety from hood lift.

VIS and FI are excellent hoods, I have a Hammerhead hood that I like very much also. Bennen and Spoon are of course great hoods but you will pay more money for that excellence.

VIS, and Fiber Images...my friend had a CF hood and it was FI and it was perfect...

Does Benen still produce Carbon Fiber hoods and products? The last I heard of them were during their numerous thief problems.

Well i dont know if they will be producing CF hoods but if you check the new benen site it says CF products coming soon.
