Black lug nuts for extended studs on OEM wheels?
Does anyone make ball-end style lug nuts for use with extended studs?
I'm getting etended lugs put on my hubs and will be using type-r wheels for daily driving. I've read that some older honda/acura's with hub covers had open ended lugs, can anyone confirm? makes & models? Honda P/N?
I'd like to run black ones if possible, and was wondering if any company makes them. I figured you track type-r guys would be the most likely people to run into this problem.
If all else fails, I'll just use the ugly chrome open ended ones.
Thanks!

oh i figured acorn= spherical /ball. because its shape mimics that of the "fruit" of the acorn.

Per B2FiNiTY's suggestion, I ordered some 91 CRX Si lugs, they appear to be open ended on the parts diagram. less than $20 for all four wheels worth.
Maybe I can try to paint or powdercoat them sometime.

I was on this hunt for many months while I was running oe wheels and extended studs. I finally accepted that I would have to use 2 sets of lug nuts and I just ran the accord ex/crx si ones that were mentioned above.
