Default Car crash and motor stopped.

Hey guy's, got into an accident a few weeks ago and the motor had stopped when I hit the tree (the motor was not hit though, crossmember stopped 2 inches away). My question is do honda's have a crash switch to shut off the motor in a collision or did the motor stop from the impact? Thanks for your help!

No, they do not have a switch. You'll have to inspect everything to make sure there is no damage..

OT: Are you stationed at Edwards? How long have you been there?

This is a good question. I had the same happen when I was t-bone a while back. Mine was a stick and I pulled it out of gear before the hit because I ahve had that be the end of a tranny before. Do they???

I bet when the car collided with the tree the clutch was still engaged.
