Just got a Cd player, but my entire center console doesnt get power. Like the clock and the cig. lighter. Is it a fuse?

That's a hard question. It could be a fuse. It could also be a battery that's disconnected. Could be a broken battery cable. Could be many things. Hard to say for sure if it's a fuse or not. You could start by checking the fuses.

 

Check the Fuses in the under hood fuse box, most Honda/Acuras use a 7.5A fuse for the stock HUs constant lead, it may not be enough current for the aftermarket HU, DONOT replace with bigger fuse if that's the problem, run a fused line from the batt. to the aftermarket HUs constant power lead, don't forget to "cap off" the stock constant lead. 94

 

The Cd player isnt even in yet. I just thought I would fix the power thing before I tryed to put a cd player in.

 

Did you check the fuses in the under hood fuse box?

Also is the stock radio plug still in the car or has it already been cut off? 94
