clock memory loss problem...
Hi,
Tonight I installed one of those flat antennas that go in your back window because my stock antenna wire is broken. The flat amplified antenna required power, so I spliced into the radio fuse in the fuse box on the drivers side. When I went to put the center console back in my radio turned off, and now it won't turn back on, and now my clock doesn't keep the time after I turn off my car. It just resets to 1:00. I removed the antenna and everything and it still doesn't hold time and the radio still doesn't turn on. I checked the radio fuse and it's fine. Any ideas guys?
Thanks in advance,
~glock

I did basically the same thing when i was installing a headunit. You most likely grounded out a power wire someplace so you need to find that first. Once you firgure out where that is, pop the hood and go to the fuse bod by the battery. There you will find a red? fuse i believe and it will be fried. replace that and you should be good to go.

Not sure, I think my friend might have disconnected and reconnected the ground while the car was on. Thanks again.
