Default Installed my HIDs

Yes not a retrofit..but I didn't feel like spending an extra 200 bucks and 8 hours of work just to help someone else(and the cut off is pretty good)

Kit: $200 shipped
9006 Plug and Play kit from XenonZone 4300k
Hella Ballasts/Ignitors
GE Bulbs
2 year warranty on everything(bulbs also, so if I blow a set i get it replaced for free)

Total Install time: about 30 mins, mainly because I didn't know where to mount the balast, ended up mounting it on one of the fender bolts

Kit came with special brackets which i used

a day shot

night shots

Overall love them, can see everything at night, not that much glare, and cops don't seem to care, since I drove by 2 road blocks and they didn't care.

The lights look white, with a hint of blue

yep its just plug and play...took literally like 10 minutes, and most of the time it was figuring out where to mount the ballast

Awsome.

My baby is gettin new eyes.

I was told to replace the headlight harness when doing a HID retrofit, due to it burning the stock harness on 90-93 Integras.
I understand this is a full drop in unit, Does this still eliminate the need of a new Headlight harness?
I read everything on that page. Just double checking my information.

Thanks.

I don't think you'll need a new harness...the HID bulbs require less power, i think its 55v for stock bulbs, and HID bulbs run 35v. I think they say to use a new harness for aftermarket bulbs..since those are usually 65 v

An HID 'kit' is not a retrofit...and I can pretty much guarantee with DA housings combined with the fluted lenses you will have some awful glare. He is lucky because he has halogen projectors

Do a wall shot and you'll see the difference, one of the down falls of the integra's projector is the bowl isn't chromed, smoothed or polished at all.
