it goes in the head somewhere.. i just can't recall where ...

ready for first startup after rebuilding head.

IMO in front of the engine- just in the edge between lower and middle timing belt cover.

OK, I was wrong- in the back of the engine just below the water pump- #3 (???)

thats not the thing that goes on the water pump. it goes like under the head or something, i can't think of it off the top of my head, but i remember it being somewhere like under the head or around there.

Well I have never had my head off, so if it goes there no wonder I don't recognize it.

i can almost garauntee it has something to do with the timing covers....im gonna take a peek at the diagrams real quick....brb

well i dont see it anywhere....im stumped

I just went out and looked at my spare head and block and that piece is no were to be found on the timing cover nor head nor block. I think your fine without it must of fell into your stuff from something else

it goes on the cylinder head on the corner heres a pic its part number 9 on the chart here

i have that piece laying in my garage somewhere.. u dont need it..

yeah that is the piece, I took off the head and brought it to the engine shop ..

They had a box of stuff, couple plugs, spark plugs, sensor or 2 and that rubber piece... i didnt know wtf they got it from ...

i remembered seeing it once before when I did my engine swap but had no idea where it went ...

Good to know i dont need it, cuz its too late now

she's runnin and purring like a kitten .. vroom!
