Default Jackson Supercharged B16 in a 91 CRX Si....two part thread..need feedback

This is the set-up currently in my 99 civic si. It dynoed at 185 at the wheels untuned......@ 6 psi with no piggybacks or stand alone and the timing retarded 8 degrees btdc.
I dont drag race the car, but other Si's have hit low 14's to high 13's (slicks). With similar set-up. What kind of times can I expect with this set-up in the CRX (185 whp 2100 lb. car)?

Part II....
This thread is due partly to the fact that i'm having a hard *** time deciding on the direction I want to go w/the crx. I want a fast and reliable all-around street car. And I don't want to spend more than $3k to 4k to do it.

First, I thought about turbocharging the d16a6. The motor is still good, w/lot's of life left in it. Looking at $1500 to $3000
Then I thought about taking the supercharger of the civic and slapping it on a b16 in the crx. $2400 installed.

Here's what I know I want....
13 second streetable car that can kill in the twisties as well.

You guys have any opinions or other ideas I already didn't cover.
Thanks,
Chris

crx with I/H/E and b16 with chipped ecu, test pipe, and CTR valvetrain. timing gears tuned to about +6 intake and -4 exhaust. Take the redline to 9k. Lightened flywheel and a tranny w/ LSD. If you take our your passenger seat and spare tire out you might get in the 13's but it would be FUGGIN' killer in the twisties!!

BTW: when it comes to twisties.. make sure your suspension is tight and your brakes are strong! Oh yea.. try to get an 88' crx si because it's suspension is the younger cousing to the ITR's susp. Plus the 88' si is the lightest of si's 88-91!!!!!

Why I suggest this is because, if it's gonna be a daily driver it's worth the money to develop the power N/A because N/A is a bit more trust worthy and reliable! Basically.. you don't have to work on as much Shizzle yo!

I have no idea what a B16SC Crx runs...12s? I've heard youre going to have to cut into the firewall to make the SC fit in the B16 Crx.

Sorry I misunderstood 2400 installed for the B16 swap?

As for any other ideas..How bout a sohc vtec swap with the Greddy Kit
(Yeah yeah I know nobody like Greddy )

$2400 is how much i can get a b16 w/my supercharger installed into the crx. everything....tranny, axels, engine, etc. I already own the supercharger.

I also thought about the greddy kit. but from i what i understand, it has to be modified so the mani can fit and the crossmember also has to be modded so the intercooler can fit. the Drag II and the f-max are bolt on.

thanks for the responses guys.

Id say try to get the b16/JRSC in the crx running, it would be a potent combination. Heres my EM JRSC dyno chart

Yah, I'm kinda leaning towards the SC route. I've had no problems w/it. Very reliable. Shoud be able to take out a few "big boys" w/it huh?

Wow, 2400 for the B16a swap and installing the sc that pretty cheap. Sounds good to me, but what are you going to do with the Civic Si?

I have a supercharger on a B18C1 in my CRX done by LHT Performance, They did a B16A with the blower and once they tuned it I run 12.8 at 108 ,it dynoed at 204 and 145 tq at 8 psi. My B18 runs alot better. My car has A/C and heat and it doesn't have the fire wall cut . My car is on there site, it's the white one ( 90 HF).
http://WWW.LHTPERFORMANCE.NET , They do great work and They did my friends B16A CRX with a blower. The only problems we have is traction.

Dont listen to everything that you hear. You dont have to cut anything.

I have a question for you. Did they use their motor mounts so that the engine was moved forward in the engine bay? I was researching this and thought if I was to do it in my car (91 Hatch) the pulley for the SC would interfere with the space the brake MC and booster occupy.
