Need clutch for Turbo GSR, will this work?
I am trying to pick a clutch for my GSR turbo project. I am going to be running 375+ whp and have been told a twin disk clutch is what I need. Thing is I do not have 1400-1600 dollers for a clutch. I am not drag racing and very very little road racing. I will use it for Daily driving and insane highway runs. Would a CM Stage 4 clutch suffice? I do not want a unsprung clutch for this car also. What are my options other then Twin disks and unsprung clutchs? I was thinking Clutch Masters Stage 4.

cm stage 4 should do you nice. i think you are correct a twin may be a little overkill for what you have. but it shouldnt ever let you down he hee.
also there are good things to be said about competition clutch also.
i had a cm stage 4 in my car for 4 years, beat on it bad got about 8000 miles out of it,and once i turned up the boost, she let go. but again this was alot of abuse.

Talk to Art about Competition Clutches, reasonable price for a twin disc:

i have a competition stage 4, sprung, i couldn't be happier... i daily drive the car and the pedal pressure is softer than stock and its grabs like hell
u shouldnt need a twin disc.
Especially if ur not dragging. And is u have an open diff with street tires, I think about anything will hold, lol.
I dont know what ur drive train is.
