problems troubleshooting!!!!!! help
i have a 00 civic si that i just recently swapped the obd1 jdm b16 into. when i start it in the morning or anytime its cooled down it starts fine. but when i press the pedal down before i let it warm up it dies. if i hook the obd2 computer up it idles high but has no problem when i press tthe gas. another thing wrong is after i take it on the highway and stop at a light or sign it starts to idle high and if i tap the gas it goes back to idling normal... anyone have any suggestions???
for 1 why did u take the stock b16 out to put in a OBD1 b16, u should have just put the same motor back in and left it OBD2 and u would have had no problems....and if converted it to OBD1 how did u hook the OBD2 ecu to it?
the problem could b the chipped p28, did u chip it or someone professional, and dont tell me u chipped it from ebay or that is definatelly your problem
no one of the companys in town chipped it with a program crome. when i put the obd2 ecu in it idles high but will run fine. but when i move back to obd1 it idles high after i drive and stop, when i tap the gas it idles normal... in the morning or anytime when the engines cold it will start but i have to let it idle for 10 minutes to warm up. if i dont, when i tap the gas it dies out.
