I'm doing a mini-me swap and thought this could be used with my D16Z6 head and now I'm wondering?? Plugs don't match up.Am I going to have to swap out the engine bay harness to use this dizzy or should I look for another dizzy?? This dizzy has two square plugs and my harness for my 88 dx has one square and one round................little help!!!!!!!!

you have to either get some d16z6 distributor plugs at the junk yard or buy the conversion thingy at rywire. Im pretty sure you got the right distributor. ill go check mine.

 

Mine says td42u from a d16z6, it has two regtangular plugs, one with two wires obv. and the large one.

 

What conversion thingy??? I can get a wire harness at a boneyard but if they make just a dizzy conversion that'd be cool?? Do they?

just go make your own, go to junkyard get plugs off other d16z6's and look for a wiring diagram to match up the wires to the new plugs. if you cant find i can find for you, but not right now, im lazy haha.
