convert d16z6 distributor to obd0?
Guys is this possible? I've seen D16Y8 distributors running OBD0, people add the OBD0 plugs to the D16Y8 distributor.
Can I do the same with a D16Z6 distributor? Add the d16a6 plugs to the distributor?

You could either just swap out the distributor plugs for non obd plugs or swap out the plugs on the harness side.Neither is easier though.

just pull the wires and color match (except the yellow - it goes to the lonely white "white by itsself")
it works I just did it
91 civic Z6 swap
manual obd0 to obd1
p28
L3 Tranny
no muffler... lol

As long as the distributor matches the ecu, then you should be able to change the plugs at the distributor to have a cleaner look. I would double check the wiring to make sure it all matches up.

I think you're a little confused. You CANNOT run an obd1 distributor with an obd0 ecu. What I believe you are referring to is converting the car from obd0 to obd1. In which case you'd run an obd1 ecu and an obd1 dist, then just replace the plugs on the dist w/ obd0 plugs so that you can hook up the dist to the wiring. But the dist will still be running off of an obd1 system. Also, you could just as easily repin the engine harness with obd1 plugs so that it plugs into your obd1 dist. Same idea, just the other way around.
