Default New EGR Mod Idea!!!!!!

I'm sitting here at work and this just came to me.... dont ask me why..... and maybe this has been done b4, i search and didnt find it.....

So the EGR sends some exhaust gas back into AF mix to lower combustion temp correct? This is for emissions and lowers the temp of the engine (or at least this is my understanding)

instead of running the line from the EGR valve to the engine, can you route a line from the Intake to the Engine port?

next step in my thinking was, if you can do it with clean cool air, why not with nitrous or with more fuel?........ seems rather cheap as you wont have to drill into the engine like with direct port, and air is allready going in their anyway, why not dump in some more fuel or something that is more condusive to combustion for a few more cheap HP......

or will this just:
A: kill emission and throw a code (i use OBD1 so im not as worried)
B: Do Nothing
C: Cause more problems than it is worth......
I dont know, it just poped into my head..... i know i dont have a complete understanding of how the EGR system works

well from what i understand is that

the egr port ONLY dumps the exhaust gasses backinto 1 cylinder.. (this is why u take apart a motor and always find 1 cylinder.. (cyl 4) is the most carbon buildup....

therefore nitrous in 1 cylinder would destroy the motor im guesin!

ah, i didnt know that..... i thought that it dumped even into all 4.......

why the heck would they not want the system to be uniform? that seems silly to me....

the egr port shares with all 4 cylinders, but you would want nitrous to be fed in under full throttle and high rpm, the egr is mainly open at 2500-3500 rpm

I wouldn't call 2500 rpms idle

EGR works while cruising- 2500 rpms-3500rpms
