Adjusting ignition timing, no need to jumper anything right?

Default Adjusting ignition timing, no need to jumper anything right?

I was searching and read that you had to jumper a service connector when adjusting timing but crxs dont have that do they?

I think that's for EG's. I would like to know though as I have to retard my timing soon.

i need to advance mine, running rich. do you think getting rid of the intake and putting the filter on the TB will help get more air?

Yes..'88 models have it under the hood and
the later models have it inside at the passenger side kick panel.

Jumping the connector let's the ECU know that the timing
is being adjusted so that it does not try to correct for the distributor
being moved..
