Default How to get linkages better?

Hey all, I have Hasport linkages in my civic but I have a really wierd issue. All 4 passes I did at the track on saturday, I missed 2nd. It's like it doesn't want to go into 2nd until a few tries. So I let my other friend make a run at the track with my car and he missed 2nd also. On the street, its really hard to go into 3rd.

I had other modified linkages in my car that I borrowed from a friend and they were perfect. These hasport ones I am having issues with. Is there anything that can be done to fix this issue? Perhaps modify the linkages in a way or what...

If the linkage has any play in it, send it back to hasport for repair.

those hasport linkages dont have enough room for the shifter to get it in gear... you can take a die grinder to open the hole up alittle on the front and rear side where the shifter fit through the stabilizer bar.

get a stock linkage, cut/fit........

i am having a similar problem but it is with the avid racing linkage. the opening where the shifter comes up threw the floor is two big for the shifter so i had to put electrical tape around the ball on the shifter so i could get it to shift.
any one else run into troubles
