Default possibly running rich?

hey guys,
I just installed my walbro 255lph pump about 2 weeks ago. It seems that it might be a little hessitant under 3k rpm. I got a backfire when shifting from 1st to 2nd, not a loud one but noticeable. Could there be a chance that the 255 is pumping enough to raise the pressure in the fuel rail and let more pass through the injectors which would cause me to run rich? I bought the pump for my turbo set up which i should install sat or sun this week :D...

i would assume that it is pumping a bit more than the stock one, being that its a lot bigger....

just wait until you get everything on and tune it, then if it doesn't run right let us know

it is stock with an aftermarket fuel pump in it right now. I dont have the turbo kit on, I was just wondering if that would be normal.
